1️⃣ Chasing

Explanation:

In chasing, you will be attacking a piece to force it to a vulnerable/weak square, so, that you can execute a tactic on that piece in the next move.

Example Puzzle:

White to Play

Here, in the above puzzle, White can play Rd7 forcing black Knight to reach Na5 or Nc5 and then white can deliver a fork by playing Rd5

Rd7 Na5/Nc5 Rd5 forks both Knight and Bishop

2️⃣ Practice Puzzles

Instructions:
Try to solve the puzzles without moving the pieces.
Write down your solutions before checking the solution at the bottom

1. Be5 Nb5 G6 traps the knight on H5

2. Qe8 Kg7 Qe5 wins the rook via Queen Fork (Direct Qe5 will not be effective as black has Qg7 defending the rook)

3. Nb3 Kb1 Nd2 wins rook via Knight Fork

4. Qe1 Kh2 Qe5 wins the knight via Queen Fork
